No Experience? WE CAN HELP YOU GET CERTIFIED
In order to work as a homecare caregiver in NJ, you must possess a Certificated Home Health Aide certificate. If you aren't yet certified, we are happy to help guide you through the process and make sure that you meet all of the requirements for your certificate.
Education
No previous experience is required, but professional training by a registered nurse is mandatory.
Training
A minimum of 76 hours of training is required, which includes 60 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of hands-on clinical instruction.
Examination
Applicants must pass a state exam issued by the Board of Nursing.
Background Check
A criminal background check is mandatory before employment as a Certified Home Health Aide
