Structured Family Caregiving (SFC) is a program that allows family members to get paid for taking care of a loved one at home, offering financial support while ensuring the care recipient’s needs are met.
To be eligible, you must be a family member (biological or by marriage) who provides care for a loved one that requires nursing-level care and lives with them. You must also be at least 18 years old.
Caregivers are provided a stipend based on the level of care needed by the recipient. Payment details will be discussed during the enrollment process. Payment may be tax-free. Consult with your accountant.
No previous caregiving experience is required. The program offers training and support to help you provide the best care possible.
